Next year’s Ghostbusters reboot — the female-led version starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones — could be getting an Ozzy Osbourne cameo.
Rumor has it that the Prince of Darkness was on set last week (Aug. 27-31) at Boston’s Citi Wang Theatre, where the Paul Feig-directed film was shooting a scene featuring a heavy metal concert. For this bit part, Osbourne would be playing a familiar role — the frontman of a metal band — for the forthcoming film.
The Boston Herald reports that its “spy on the scene” overheard crew members discussing the Black Sabbath singer and that nearby posters advertised a “Rock Revenge Fest featuring Ozzy Osbourne” as part of a “12 Hour Marathon of Metal.”
