Radiohead
Radiohead were asked to write and record a theme for the new James Bond movie Spectre but the producer’s of the movie rejected it, instead going with Sam Smith.
Radiohead’s Thom Yorke revealed the story and the song via Twitter on Christmas Day telling fans,
“Last year we were asked to write a tune for Bond movie Spectre. Yes we were. It didn’t work out … but became something of our own which we love very much. As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it. Merry Christmas. May the force be with you”
