Eagles Of Death Metal have expanded their tour in support of 2015’s ‘Zipper Down’.
The group will play a number of rescheduled dates in Europe this August after they were forced to cancel their European tour last month when singer-guitarist Jesse Hughes suffered a hand injury.
“I’m devastated that we cannot continue what has been a life-changing return to Europe, but I need to get repaired,” Hughes said at the time.
Eagles’s only UK appearance will be at Reading and Leeds festival on 27 and 28 August.
The US rock group also announced several North American tour dates this summer in addition to their previously scheduled 10-gig Canadian trek.
The band will play 25 dates in the US, starting off in Burlington, Vermont on May 10 and finishing up at San Bernardino, California’s Lost Highway Festival on 23 July.
Last month, the band returned to Paris for a concert at the city’s Olympia venue. Around 900 survivors of the Bataclan terror attack were present, having been invited by the band to attend the gig for free.
Frontman Jesse Hughes caused controversy by suggesting in an interview on French television that greater access to firearms might have prevented the attacks.
He said: ”I know people will disagree with me, but it just seems like God made men and women, and that night guns made them equal. And I hate it that it’s that way. I think the only way that my mind has been changed is that maybe that until nobody has guns everybody has to have them.”
