Morrissey is back – announcing his only UK tour date of 2016 with a huge homecoming show in Manchester. Details are below and tickets will be available here.
The Smiths hero turned solo icon currently has a run of dates lined up throughout Europe and Scandinavia – and has now been confirmed to perform in the UK.
He played some rare shows in Hull and London back in September, following his triumphant sell-out gig at London’s The O2 Arena in support of World Peace Is None Of Your Business.
As confirmed by Morrissey fansite and official mouth-piece True-To-You: “This will be Morrissey’s first appearance in Manchester for four years, and his only 2016 show in England.”
Morrissey plays Manchester Arena on Saturday 20 August. Support comes from Damien Dempsey. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 8 July and will be available here.
