Liam and Noel Gallagher

Liam and Noel Gallagher appear to have reached a truce and buried the hatchet, the younger Oasis brother has revealed online.

The pair, whose regular arguments caused the Manchester band to split up in 2009, are “all good again” according to Liam.

The former Oasis frontman, who released his debut solo album As You Were earlier this year, wished his sibling a merry Christmas on Twitter.
He wrote: “I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG it’s been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tmorrow AS YOU WERE LG x.”

Fans reacted to the post, with many questioning whether an Oasis reunion could be on the cards in 2018.

One wrote: “Team who? Your not going to have a meltdown on here come Christmas day are you Liam when NG doesn’t reach out to you.”

Liam replied: “He’s already reached out… We’re all good again.”

But the chances of a reunion still appear remote. Earlier this year Noel said Oasis getting back together would “kill me as a person”.

He made the comment as he promoted his own solo record, the third under his moniker of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Liam has also poured scorn on suggestions of a comeback throughout 2017.
