Liam Gallagher was forced to cut a festival show short after a chest infection made it difficult for him to breath on stage.
Video footage recorded by fans at Lollapalooza Festival in Santiago, Chile, showed him explaining that his voice sounded “f**king horrific” before leaving the stage.
“My voice is absolutely smashed. I’m not just going to stand here all night screaming out for everybody sounding f**king horrific,” he says. “I’m very sorry I can’t sing the tunes.”
His announcement was met by boos from disappointed fans, to which he said: “If you ain’t gonna have fun, I’m wasting my time.”
A statement was later released on Gallagher’s Twitter account which explained he had been having trouble breathing due to a chest infection.
