Ozzy Osbourne has been hospitalised after contracting an infection which saw him forced to cancel a show in California.
Due to perform in Mountain View as part of his No More Tours Tour, on the west coast, on Saturday night, the 69-year-old spent the evening at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA after undergoing surgery on his hand to treat an infection. A statement from the Black Sabbath rocker’s team confirmed the news: ‘OZZY OSBOURNE’s Saturday, October 6 show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA is being postponed due to illness.
‘The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter is being treated for an infection, which required surgery on his hand this morning (Saturday, October 6).
‘OSBOURNE will spend a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles where he’ll remain under doctor’s care as they monitor the infection. (sic)’
