Korn

In a new interview with Consequence Of Sound, Korn’s guitarist Brian “Head” Welch sat down with the source to share some details of their follow-up to 2016’s the Serenity Of Suffering.

According to the interview, the band still has a ways to go when talking about the completion of the album, where he explained that they still have a lot of the instrumentals left to finish:

“At this time, guitars aren’t finished, and I don’t know if we’re done writing. We’ve written a lot, but I’m not sure if we’re done writing yet. Bass is not done. Most of the drums are done on the songs we have, and a little bit of vocals have been worked on.”

While they still have a fair amount of work to be done, he then continued on to say that this album will seemingly be full of surprises, as the group has some “amazing tricks” that should come as a surprise for fans, saying: “We’ve got some amazing tricks up our sleeves that we haven’t done before, some fun things that the fans are going to be pleasantly surprised by. I know that for a fact.”
