Kaiser Chiefs have announced details of a UK headline tour. The Leeds group, who have released six albums in their 13 years together, will head out on tour in February and March 2017.

The band will release their latest record ‘Stay Together’ On October 7. It is the second album they have put out since the departure of founding member and drummer Nick Hodgson, who left in 2012.

Former The Voice mentor Ricky Wilson and his bandmates will begin the tour on February 22 at Llandudno’s Venue Cymru Arena. They will then visit Bournemouth, Birmingham, Plymouth, Brighton, London and Manchester. The run of dates will conclude with a show in their hometown of Leeds.

Kaiser Chiefs formed in 2003, taking their name from South African football club Kaizer Chiefs FC. Their debut album ‘Employment’, which featured breakthrough single ‘I Predict A Riot’ was released in 2005.

They have scored two Number One albums – first with 2007’s ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’ and then again in 2014 with fifth record ‘Education, Education, Education And War’.
