The Rolling Stones

The legendary rockers, who kicked off their European tour with their Irish return, looked like they were enjoying the Irish crowd as they were snapped on stage at GAA HQ.

Having being warmed up by The Academic, Mick Jagger and co took to the Croke Park stage after 8pm.

Belting out some of the old classics and some newer tunes too, gig-goers were treated to a fabulous performance from the music icons.

Guitarist Ronnie Wood gave fans a sneak peak of the stage earlier on today – posting a photo to Instagram of his adorable twin daughters checking out the venue.

And it wasn’t the first glimpse fans got – Mick Jagger posted a video to Twitter of him warming up the Croke Park stage two days before he was due to perform.
Frontman Jagger ditched the rest of the band after landing in Ireland – he headed to watch day three of the Test cricket between Ireland and Pakistan at Malahide, north Co Dublin.

The rockers arrived on Irish soil last Saturday via private jet in preparation for their European tour opener at Ireland’s top GAA grounds.

The band recently revealed the bizarre diet they will chow down on to help them power through the sold-out concert.

Shepherd’s pie was will be on the menu for the foursome – with bananas dipped in caviar for dessert. (The Irish Sun)
